The terms and conditions below govern the agreement between you (the client) and us (Tima Tour and Travels). By booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Please read them carefully and make sure you understand them.

Tour information:
All our itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely tour schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road, physical ability of the participants, … may dictate itinerary changes either before or on tour.
Tima Tour and Travels reserves the right to amend any aspect of the itinerary including transportation and accommodation without notice in the interest of the trip, participant’s safety, comfort and general well being without making any rebate, allowance or refund and extra cost, if any, would be payable by the client.
Please confirm that the travel arrangements including travel dates and times, cities, hotel(s) and passenger name(s) are correct.
Note: spelling of passenger name(s) must be exactly as they appear in your travel document. These documents can be: passport, official government ID, proof of citizenship, etc. Name corrections after payment/ticketing will result in additional charges or change fees to the passenger. Please notify Tima Tour and Travels of any special needs as soon as possible. Tima Tour and Travels will not be held responsible for any omissions or errors that they are not aware of.
Meet & greet
Your driver will be available and waiting for you at least 15 minutes prior to your arrival. He will meet you at airports, trains stations, piers or hotels, holding a greeting board with your name on it. He will welcome you and escorted to your destination.
If you cannot be located, he will wait a minimum of 1 hour.
Your driver will double check the itinerary with you at the very beginning. That way he can make a quick adjustment if there is any difference.
Private driver service
Your tour driver’s primary job is to drive you safely and smoothly from one place to another. He can take you to good restaurants, nice places and up to monument ticket windows. He also gives you relevant information about your tour. Your driver will wait until you finish the visit of any particular monument. Meanwhile he will take care of your luggage and belongings. A cost for the car, the drivers food and accommodation will always be included in the quote we send you. Our drivers are experienced and have travelled extensively all over the northern part of India.
Their service includes:
- meet and greet you at the airport
- take you from one destination to the next
- direct you to monuments and places of interest in each city for sightseeing and visit
- take you to restaurants and great places to eat where you could taste Indian or international cuisine
- help you change currency if necessary
- store your luggage while you are on sightseeing
- translate between you and locals if necessary
- provide you with mineral water /soft drinks
- first point of contact in case of questions / requirements
Accommodation
Tima Tour and Travels can arrange a wide range of hotels to meet different budgets from customers, from budget to luxurious, boutique to chain brands. All hotels are clean, secure, comfortable and evaluated by us on a regular basis based on customer feedback.
Excursions
Many of Tima Tour and Travels packages include excursions. The prices of these excursions we need you need to pay seperately since those prices are not included in the total tour cost. All excursions are undertaken at your own risk. Tima Tour and Travels cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after Tima Tour and Travels has executed their duty and taken the necessary care.

All our tours are car packages which means you will have a personalized, private tour. These tours include a comfortabel car and a licensed and experienced driver.

- expenses of personal nature such as: alcoholic drinks, laundry, hotel extras, …
- movie / video camera fees
- all excursions charges (unless agreed upon)
- elephant ride at Amber Fort and camel safari in the desert
- passport, visa fees and excess luggage charge
- flexible meal plan: lunch, dinner (unless agreed upon)
- admission/entrance fees of monuments, museum, national parks, …
- personal holiday insurance and personal medical insurance
- train and/or flight tickets (unless agreed upon)
- security charges introduced or increased after you booked relating to transportation cost
- taxes or compulsory charges introduced by Governments, regulatory bodies or airlines after you booked
- any other item not specified
Our website
The information contained in our website and in our other advertising material we believe to be correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. However, errors may occasionally occur and information may subsequently change. You must therefore ensure you check all the details of your chosen trip (including the price) with us at the time of booking.
Booking conditions
To make a booking, please send us an email with your requirements. We will start to assist you in building a pleasant travel plan according to your special requirements and interests, which we will send you by email.
Upon receiving our proposal, please confirm by email the tour we built for you.
Upon the receipt of a deposit from you (or on mutual agreement), we’ll secure your reservation and process your final booking immediately. The deposit is usually 25% of the total touring price, while the percentage could be subject to group size and itinerary.
Once Tima Tour and Travels confirms your booking, Tima Tour and Travels will send you a confirmation with the proposed flights (if any), hotels and tour.
The price quoted for any trip covers the cost of the planning, the organisation and carrying out of the trip, including accommodation (if required), administration and staff except for the following, for which you are responsible: vaccination fees, travel insurance, cost of travel to/from start/return point of your trip including international flights, cost of passport and visas, personal equipment and personal expenses while on the trip and any other expenses specifically excluded on the trip description. When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept on behalf of yourself and your group the terms and conditions mentioned in this document.
Payment
In order to book & confirm your chosen itinerary, we will require 25% of the total tour cost as an advance deposit to hold your bookings on confirm basis. Apart from the 25% of the tour cost, you would also need to pay us the full amount for air tickets we issue (if any).
Once we have received the required payment, we will proceed with reservations and revert to you with status report of your tour.

Any bank charges levied by the sending bank of your payment must be payed by you.
Please NOTE: the quoted price is the total price for 1 car (not per person).
Balance payment:
Full payment we advice you to pay by bank transfer or online payment gateways either 15 days before your scheduled departure date or on any optional date upon mutual agreement.
If paying cash only, 50% of the tour cost you can pay to the driver on the first day of your tour, before the tour commences, while the other 50% we recommend that you pay to the driver at mid-tour.
Any bookings made within 15 working days of the date of services we need you to pay immediately or on any optional date upon mutual agreement.
NOTE: Apart from above, in case of bookings for flights, special train journeys, bookings during peak season (X-mas, New year, Pushkar Fair, Diwali, etc.) for hotels or resorts, we need you need to make the full payment at the time of booking itself. Terms and conditions for group bookings will be separate and treated case by case.
Note of payment:
All payments made offline or through online payment gateway (if applicable) must be made in INR. If you want to make cash payments, you can do so in any currency upon mutual agreement.
International clients can make payment using:

Any currency conversion cost or other charges incurred in making the payment or in processing a refund shall be borne by the client or the third party making payment and shall not be deductable from the fees due to the company.

Travel insurance
It is essential that you have an adequate and appropriate cover for your trip. It is important that the insurance will cover cancellation cost from the date of booking as well as medical expenses (including evacuation and repatriation). If you travel against government’s advice, the validity of your travel insurance may be affected. Please read your policy details carefully and take them with you on your trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.
Medical issues
You should take into account all international travel risks and health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the governmental safety and security conditions, vaccinations, and other health requirements in India or the countries you transit. Medical vaccinations are entirely your responsibility and Tima Tour and Travels advice you to arrange prior to departure. Tima Tour and Travel cannot take responsibility for cancellation of your trip in the event that you are not allowed to fly or to continue your tour.
Passport and Visa requirements
Visa and passports valid for no less than 6 months are required to travel to India. Responsibility for documentation accuracy, passports and visa validity and dispatch of documents rest with you. Tima Tour and Travels is not responsible for any failure in this respect. You must clearly provide your full name on passport, otherwise we are not liable for any delays, transport failure, etc.
All costs incurred in obtaining such documentation is yours to pay.
If you are unable to travel due to not being able to obtain (or not having) the appropriate visa, we reserve the right to retain the cost of the trip.
Conditions of suppliers
Suppliers including transport operators, provide their services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. These terms may limit or exclude their liability to you in the event of death, personal injury, delay or loss / damage of personal possessions.
Changing to your confirmed tour
Before we confirm your booking, adjustments to itinerary we are happy to process free of charge, since it is our goal to offer you the best possible tour. However, after confirmation, changes to your trip Tima Tour and Travels can consider depending on practicalities and availabilities, but there might be a cost associated with these changes. We will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible.
We do not charge an amendment fee for doing so and will only pass on extra costs involved in providing additional or alternative services which any of our suppliers incur or impose. Normally we will treat a change of holiday dates as a cancellation of the original booking and rebooking in which case cancellation charges will apply. Changes may result in the recalculation of the holiday price where, for example, the basis on which the price of the original holiday was calculated, has changed.
If you purchase an airline ticket separately, ensure that your agent explains the conditions under which they issue the ticket as Tima Tour and Travels is not responsible for such airlines ticket cancellation fees.
Any changes or cancellations within 72 hours of your expected departure time from your home country you must communicate by phone. We cannot guarantee that we can receive, respond and act on any e-mails received within 72 hours of your departure.
Changes and cancellation by us
Tima Tour and Travels reserves the right to modify your itinerary if air schedule or surface transportation changes and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost Tima tour and Travels will calculate and charge / refund accordingly. We will advise you of any error of which we are aware of and of the then applicable price at the time of booking. When we make changes we will provide you with similar alternative options.
Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day. Tima Tour and Travels reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that enables you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, Tima Tour and Travels will maintain the itinerary content to the extent possible and they will not refund any unused or unavailable excursions.
The itinerary is a guide to which we will attempt to adhere, but it may be necessary to alter this at short notice as a result of circumstances or events outside our control such as adverse weather or road conditions or any of those amounting to Force Majeure or due to the operating conditions imposed by owners and operators of accommodation, facilities and transport.
Your itinerary will, however, be the same in content as far as is reasonably possible, unless circumstances beyond our control make this impossible.
Compensation payments do not apply where performance of our services with you is prevented bij Force Majeure (next chapter).
Force majeure
This means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include, whether actual or threatened: war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industriel dispute, accident, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, technical problems to transport, airline failure, closure or congestion of airports, ports or roads, cancellation or change of scheduled flights, breakdown of machinery or equipment, sickness, landsides, political closures, acts of God, perils incident to the sea, floods, acts of Government or any other authorities, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom department regulations, fire and all similar events outside our control or any untoward incidents or any such causes whatsoever including any liability or extra expenses sustained by the clients.
These force majeures are beyond our control.
Cancellation of bookings / no show / early departure
We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your tour to India, however we realize, in most cases, it is out of necessity. Cancellations you must address to [email protected]. The cancellation will take effect on the day Tima Tour and Travels receives it. The following cancellation charges will apply:
- up to 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the tour service cost
- 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival: 20% of the tour service cost
- 29 to 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the tour service cost
- 14 to 8 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour service
- 7 days or less prior to arrival: NO REFUND
PLUS: additional cancellation charges ( if applicable), imposed by the service providers other than Tima Tour and Travels (may include but not limit to airlines, cruises, hotels, banks or other payment platforms, railway companies, etc.), will be deducted from the money transfer.
Cancellation of flight tickets
Tickets are valid on flights and dates shown on the ticket. If permitted by carrier, changes must be requested prior to original departure date & time. Changes may result in a higher fare and are also subject to a change penalty. Routing changes are not permitted. Unused tickets may not be used for future travel credit. Failure to travel on any portion of your itinerary will result in cancellation of all remaining flights. Flight cancellations shall be charged according to the cancellation policy of the booked airlines + our service charges. Keep in mind: most flight tickets are non-refundable.
Cancellation of wildlife safaris
Wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park / Sanctuaries are non-refundable.
Cancellation after the trip commence
We are unable to refund any amount for unused services (may include but not limit to hotels, air, boat or train tickets, meals, admission fees) due to your early departure, late arrival or missed days on tour.
Refunds
In regard to refund of unutilized services (which were paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
Our liability to you
The responsibility of Tima Tour and Travels is stricktly limited.
Tima Tour and Travels shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations or of any third party not directly owned or operated by Tima Tour and Travels. By utilizing the travel services of the suppliers, you agree that you will look to such suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you. Neither Tima Tour and Travels nor any representative of Tima Tour and Travels shall be liable.
Without limitation, Tima Tour and Travels is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage to person or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the provision of or failure to provide any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from – but not limited to – acts of God or force majeure, acts of war of civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking of downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for the failure of any transport mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Tima Tour and Travels. Tima Tour and Travels is not responsible for the stolen and / or the loss of your valuable items due to your negligence.
Tima Tour and Travels is not responsible for your failure to comply with custom regulations. They hold no responsibility for any criminal act or any act of the clients considered criminal by the laws of India, but is obliged to provide both relevant law offices and the clients with utmost assistance in investigation when needed.
Tima Tour and Travels reserves the right to substitute hotels with those of similar quality or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, cruise ships or to cancel the tour prior to departure at any time.
If Tima Tour and Travels cancels a tour before it starts, Tima Tour and Travels is liable for a full refund of the money received.
Complaints
We welcome you to give feedback about our services anytime.
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service Tima Tour and Travels has provided, please inform us immediately to avoid similar problems happening again either before or during the trip.
If you want to complain or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email or regular mail in writing within 15 days upon ending your tour.
Tima Tour and Travels will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after you finish your tour.
