Golden Triangle – Ranthambore Tour

Welcome to Delhi, the capital city of India!

Upon arrival you are welcomed before being excorted to your hotel.

Take a morning tour of Old Delhi. Your visit includes stops at the Red Fort, Raj Ghat (a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi), Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. In the afternoon, embark on a tour to New Delhi , driving past the Parliament House, the President's House and India Gate. Later visit Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and Birla Temple.

In the morning the driver will take you to Agra, stop at Sikandra to visit the architecturally marvelous tomb of Emperor Akbar.

This afternoon you spend some time exploring Agra and the 16th century Agra Red Fort with its battlements, apartments, gardens and audience halls. The day ends with a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal, the moument of love, where you will witness the warm glow as the sun sets over the beautiful monument.

Early this morning you visit the Taj Mahal as the rays of the rising sun bath the marble in a divine glow, before departing for Ranthambore.

You arrive in Ranthambore in the afternoon. Be prepared for your first game drive in the National Park of Ranthambore which now serves as a wildlife sanctuary for many animals including tigers and leopards.

You'll take game drives in the morning and evening to spot the jungle wildlife.

The Ranthambore Game Reserve is one of the few preserves where the nocturnal camera-shy tigers may be seen in daylight. Almost exterminated by the local royalty and their British rulers, the population of the Bengal tiger is slowly increasing thanks to the efforts of 'Project Tiger' and the World Wildlife Fund.

Start your day with an early morning game drive.

Later on continue to Jaipur, nicknamed the "Pink City", where the old city is surrounded by a massive wall pierced by magnificent gates.

Today it seems like you are transported back in time: you experience riding royally atop painted and elegantry draped elephants to the mountain fortress of Amber, a superbe example of Rajput architecture with its complex of ornate apartments and palaces. You will be provided a free guide to tell you all about this beautiful fort.

In the afternoon you can enjoy a city tour of Jaipur, visiting Hawa Mahal, also known as 'Palace of Winds', the City Palace with its courtyards and arched entrances. At the end of the visit you stop at the ancient observatory, called 'Jantar Mantar'.

After breakfast you check out of the hotel and drive back to Delhi.

When you arrive in Delhi, check in at your hotel and relax until it is time to drive to the airport for your flight back home.
